How We Work

How We Work

How We Work

Your Home Physiotherapists are fully qualified and members of the Health Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

Initial Assessment

The first contact will consist of a thorough assessment involving a full history taking of your condition and a physical examination.

This will help us identify your goals, develop a treatment plan, and determine the number and frequency of follow-up sessions.

The initial assessment will also include a first treatment session and will normally last 1 hour.

Follow-up Session

Each follow-up session will be 30-45 minutes long and will consist of treatments tailored to your needs.

Amendments to the course of treatment can be made if necessary based on any re-assessment findings.

Your Home Physio uses an exercise software programme called Physiotec. This allows our clients to receive clear exercises with both pictures and instructions.

The specific exercise programme can be printed out, but can also be made accessible on smartphones, tablets or computers via email. This ensures that our clients can easily remember their exercises.

We therefore ask for an email address.

Assessment Questionnaire

Filling out this questionnaire will make our use of time during the assessment more efficient.

It is by no means mandatory to fill out the entire form (mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk*), but any information will be helpful and kept confidential. Thank you for taking the time to fill out the form.
